I can't help myself

When I pick up a new book I nearly always read the last sentence first, almost in an attempt to spoil the whole thing for myself, but safe in the knowledge it will either mean very little or I would have forgotten it by the time I finish it.

I always read magazines from the last page to the first but I never read the last bit of a book before the rest unless it's really boring.

I was really proud of myself 3 months ago when I read Jamaica Inn AND Frenchman's Creek without reading the last chapters. I've returned to my traditional book reading method since though
