Having a rough time part 2 ...

as the last thread closed down due to it being too large, thought I'd set up a part 2

Thank you for your kind comments, you all talk a lot of sense and it means a lot.

I'm not craving attention I was merely saying things are tough and getting a bit on top of me, and just wanted to know if anyone else is in the same position.

It's not a simple option of just being positive or choosing to be happy sometimes things are t that simple in life.

Sorry if I brought anyone down that was not my intention.

Thanks guys

X

The land of grey peas and bacon

Maybe setting yourself up for round 2 isn't the greatest of ideas for you.....I'd say get an early night and a chill out

From experience, it is as unnatural to feel happy all the time as it is sad.

Give your feelings validation, recognise them, own them. That is normal.

If you can't shake it off, get some talking therapy x

I haven't read the other thread but I know what you mean sometimes life is rubbish. It's a matter of putting one foot in front of the other and enduring.

Hope it doesn't last too long.

Aye.

If you genuinely feel shit, no amount of platitudes from others is going to make a difference anyway.

I was interested in people's thoughts, some were very helpful

2 years of relentless shit m8 then in the space of 2 weeks in a blink of eye everything came together.

It's good to have a wee rant and let out the frustration/anger/emotion every now and again. Dust yourself down, recharge the batteries, chin up and get ready to face the next stage. Don't let it get on top of you.

I have not read the previous profile either. When I have a low point I turn to my family and friends. The forum is all well and good, but its not real life or people important in my life (sorry to burst anyone's bubble). I tend to be a proactive person - I don't dwell or wallow, but there are days where a good cry gets it all out of my system. Mr Law knows I need to talk things out to process them, but then let them go. Options are to keep going or change something - your life is in your hands, once you realise that, its very empowering .... good luck

I'll ring a faceless person on the phone then, in not looking to talk to people on here about my problems was just asking if anyone ever has bad days too like it

I find if I'm feeling down or in a reflective mood , the last place you should be is online.

Text a friend from the outside world, they won't judge you. They know you better and have no expectations of you being the life and soul or sex god that this site dictates

And don't reflect your mood in your status

You asked who to talk to, I answer. What was the point in asking the question if it's irrelevant?

To answer your question again, yes, I suspect every single person here has bad days.

They may be faceless but they're also really well trained and do fantastic work. They're not just for the suicidal.

Have a bath, put on some music you like, get a cup of tea and relax - that's normally the first thing I do.

If all else fails I just go to bed and hope I feel a bit better the next day.

Without knowing the in's and outs of the situation it's hard to give advice.

Just keep talking keep yourself busy even if it's just popping on the forums to join in the discussions.

I've had a tough time of late & yes it all can get a bit much & overwhelming at times.

I take a step back, allow myself the time to be sad & then pick myself back up and find the 'happy place' which isn't static, can be with family, friends or on my own.

I don't know why you're feeling sad at the moment but give yourself time & I'm sure things will work out.

Im sorry you are having a rough time.

Taking one day at a time and turning your situation over to your higher power can help

I pray that things are soon better for you.
