Watched some cycle races as they have passed by my way. Half an hour of waiting, 19 seconds of watching. Bit of an anti-climax really.

As opposed to motorcyclists trying to kill themselves and motorists trying kill everybody else which is pretty much the norm on the roads

I'm annoyed that I don't think I can get to see the London stage next week as I'm running a marathon and even if i am back in time I'm likely to be fucked. I'm off work Friday and that looks likely to be the best stage

I've loved watching the ToB grow to the race it is today, as Cav said many rides choose it other the Vuelta. It always produces some quality racing

Great break away n solo win today for Czech champion,watching vu3lta now, long time since Franck Schlech won! Spoiled for choice cycling on tv!

Oh do go away."

No lights no high via no helmets unlit national speed limit roads when it's dark.

And the whole family out on them two kids out front weaving randomly about the road from gutter to the far side of the white lines

Regular cyclists are slow but normally not completely obvious the "oh this reminds me we've got those bikes we've not used in about 5 years in the garage let's get out on them today in the spirit" types are fucking loons

And maybe today is the day they felt that the volume of cyclists made it safe enough to be on the roads as motorists would be more aware?

I know they're not legal requirements just like leather and kevlar on a motorbike aren't but they're sensible ones.

yeah compared to the old milk race days which was fairly countrywide,tob goes to areas best supported by council/sponsors,but some great racing stages plus the riders make the race n these guys are going for it,lol glad I'm off this week!
