(Friday and I'm going bananas!) Where can I buy cheap fruit and veg?! It's so expensive for the amount I need weekly!

Ali is somewhat reasonable for just fruit and veg, anyone use anywhere else?! Acado? Finding that really high in price!

Big shop tomorrow lol

Local shop, tesco? Just bought some from Tesco, its ok and I buy it at odd times. Used too grow all our own fruit and veg ofcourse that's the best way and something I'm going too look at doing again. Grow you're own it's the way forward.

I buy stuff from Tesco when they've reduced it at about 8pm. Usually good for another couple of days.

Otherwise our local allotment sell off excess veg very week. I go there a lot for basics.

Yeah head into the town centre. There's a decent fruit and veg shop across from dorothy perkins, and if you turn the corner at the market an walk to the end of there, there's a good stall there as well.

I'm going with what the others say....local market, reduced section of big supermarket and aldi/lidl.

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

I've been using the same stall in Derby Market Hall for the last 25 yrs, it's not the cheapest, but you can't fault the quality and the service is second to none

Sorry to lowers the tone of this thread but my fruit and veg are available at no cost at all. There is also the added benefit that you can test their ripeness with a gentle squeeze and if you would like to give them a taste test you are more than welcome!
