18-99 off putting?

Am I on my own here, or does anyone else get put off profiles that say they are after people between 18 and 99? To me it's just like a total no holes barred type of thing lol

Perhaps some are just because they haven't changed it. I just can't imagine wanting to sleep with someone who would happily sleep with someone of 99. We all have our preferences I guess X

All it might mean is they haven't changed the default settings, but that can be over lookeed somewhat depending on if the rest of their profile has been filled in, rather than a fill in later or something similar, and they still have that weeks or months after their join date.

no I don't find it off putting.

I see them as keeping their age filters open than limiting who themselves to a certain age group.

But I do agree that the higher age limit should maybe be more realistic

yes but when you first sign up for fab your just wanting to get on with messaging and whoever's concerned probably didn't think too much about the age range a more annoying age range for me is 98-99 xx

You, sir, have clearly never been part of a discussion between a woman and a man with OCD who worries too much about every possible eventuality.

Deciding to leave it at the default setting is what happens once one loses the will to live.

(So that you can spend hours on the next question: "Can I travel? Well, I can", "Yes, but do you want to?", "I don't know, how far is it?", "that depends", "can't you set a limit?", "no, it's either a tick or a cross", "but will people write whole forum posts about whether we say we'll travel or not?", "undoubtedly, shall we say 'yes', just so we can move on?"....)

Sometimes I wonder how we ever set this profile up!

Maybe they don't consider age a big factor, maybe they consider its about the person.

Maybe some folks spend too long finding every little thing they think is wrong with a profile and not enough time looking for the positives.

I'm certainly not lazy and have deliberately set my filters to encompass the whole age spectrum purely because we're all adults on here.

Same as I don't specify race.Fun is fun wherever you may find it.

I'm in the same boat. People have turned me down for not altering my age preferences, but in my head I'm just thinking of the people I talk to in the forums and the filters, what if I ask for advice or someone wants to send me a message, but they're outside my preferences. the most annoying one is accommodating, I can accommodate occasionally, but it's not a guarantee, so I'm down as a no accommodating which people assume means I'm cheating. No, I just hate the idea of turfing people out in the morning when I have to go to work. Unnecessary hassle. Its all been overthought to the enth degree

Only normally puts me off if it's on a newbie profile along with cannot travel or accomodate and no visible pictures. Tend to skip those as potential fakes tbh.

The age of a woman is irrelevant to me. I'm either attracted to that person or I'm not. I've never understood what the year of their birth has to do with anything. I've also never bought into the whole 'won't go with anyone younger than my son or older than my pet tortoise' philosophy. Though people tell me that's because I don't have kids myself. My main problem I think is I just love women. You're so damn moreish...at all ages!
