How many messages a day / week do you send (guesstimate) to new contacts.. either proactively or reactively..

Proactively 1 or 2 usually yo fellow forumites...reactively maybe 20ish?

To friends loads don't count ...to the odd person who catches my eye one and await the reply.

I always say thank you to people that fab my pics. But I don't send to many as most just get deleted if someone shows interest ie wink then il send a message

I'm the same, I converse with friends and other contacts I'd be surprised if I sent more than a couple per week to new folks..

I'm trying to remember how many I sent when I first joined, I guess my messaging methods have changed over time..

I'll proactively send a message or two a week. Usually to people on the forums regarding a post. To new contacts? None.

We are happy with the people we currently meet and going to clubs, so no need to look for people. If someone of interest messages us, we respond accordingly.

Up to around 5 to new contacts, typically in response to their contact, though some may involve multiple messages to each. Friends - probably about the same.
