People may have seen one of these things on various social networking sites, women claiming many guys go for the 'low hanging fruit', basically women with low standards, as they can't be bothered to pursue the higher quality girls, which the girls posting such things likely see themselves as...

My question is, what sort of 'fruit' do you see yourself as? Are you bright, lush and crunchy on the tree, just waiting for the right climber to pick and savour you, or are you lying on the ground, watching as the other pieces get picked up around you?

I'm the manky, gnarled, odd looking fruit that is still tasty but would be rejected by any supermarket shopper.

I might get chosen at an over-priced organic grocers for my authenticity.

Sometimes, a piece of fruit may be overlooked and fall to the ground, yet it maintains its ripeness whilst the others rot around it because it's a GOOD bit of fruit! It just has to hang in there long enough for someone to notice...

That 3 week old peach at the bottom of the fruit bowl, soft and wrinkly, well past its best, and when you lift it up its all green and furry underneath and, frankly, no longer tasty.

Always happy to be someone else's low hanging fruit though lol

High.

Not looks wise, or high maintainance or anything like that really, but if someone wants me to commit myself to them then they'd better be worth it.

There's loads of shit i won't put up with either, and i will walk away to save myself more heartache and keep my self value. I love myself and feel i'm worth something more than many women put up with, i'm also happy on my own too and don't need anyone to come into my life, if they're there then i want them in it. I didn't used to be like this, i used to be naive and innocent of other people and thought they were honest like me, now i know differently.

I was having this conversation with a girl recently, about how the apple inside the toffee never tastes good, they have a chalky texture and are very sour...mind though, I supposed being submerged in molten sugar and resultantly starved of oxygen will do that.

So for that reason I don't see you as that kind of apple Courtney
