Woodthorpe

We're looking for some alternative activities for a few days off..... We need something to say we've done when we go back to work lol

Not keen on anything too exhilarating (scary) like theme parks but not middle aged enough for houses and gardens

Anyone got any ideas? ... .. Google has not helped find anything unusual unfortunately

Thanks in advance

The right place

Theatre, concerts, cycling, walking, indoor skiing. It depends on what you like to do.

Or just spend a few days in a club.

Been looking to no avail at theatres, so might have a day in London and get last minute tickets and see whatever is available. That'll include lots of walking and exploring around London soaking up the city.

Not sure indoor skiing is good idea sounds chilly lol

If you go to London walk over the O2 arena - not too scary but something to talk about.

Or, it's a bit pricey but memorable, how about a hot air balloon flight? So serene

You could go Karting and race each other round, or book a track experience and drive something powerful.

Find your local clay pigeon club and let loose on some clays with a 12-bore.

Although you are not good with heights, have you any of those treetop walkways close by (the rope & ladder type) or pop into your local Boots or WH Smiths, they sell those Red Letter Days experiences, you could get some ideas

Gorge-walking or coasteering if you like getting wet, both best done here in south Wales, not as "scary" as they may sound, and a good instructor will only push you as much as you want, for extra "watered down" go with family groups.

"Tank driving is loads of Fun x"

Yeah, but very expensive, and lots of places don't even have tanks, they have CVRT's, APC's etc!

Plus, try getting a date that you want!
