I've been humming The Sweeney theme tune all day whilst driving , drove me brother bonkers which just spurned me on !! Trouble is i can't stop now , the novelty has worn off !

There was a programme on R4 about ear-worms. The researchers said that they would plant the most annoying ear-worm on their colleagues, just for fun if they wanted to get a colleague back for something.

It's non-violent, no comeback and sounds like a good way seek retribution if you feel the need to dish it out.
