Just eat less of what you enjoy and try to not eat rubbish food. It'll be less difficult for you if you're not refusing yourself stuff.

Breakfast.

Bacon egg and tomato 'muffins'.

For 12 use 6 large eggs

12 slices of tomato

few mushrooms lightly chopped

3 rashers bacon.

In a non stick frying pan fry bacon and mushrooms and set aside.

Crack eggs into a dish and use a whisk or a fork to beat until all mixed.

You need a non stick muffin tin.

Using scissors roughly chop bacon and mushrooms and add a little of the mixture to the bottom of each of the 12 muffin tins.

Pour egg mix over each but not to the top.

Place a slice of tomato on the top and bake in the oven on 180degrees celcius for approx 15-20 mins until baked through.

Keep the carbs low and focus mostly on protein.

Breakfast: Musli and yogurt or an egg omelette.

Yes fruits are good but don't over do them as it contains sugar, have some but not to much.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I like Bircher muesli. Get some muesli, then add yoghurt to your chosen consistency. Leave in the fridge overnight (so the oats can soak up the liquid). In the morning add some milk to moisten if its too stiff (hurr hurr) and add some berries or grate some apple into it.

Yum.

I'm interested in why people are suggesting meusli and granola. Both are full of sugar, personally I wouldn't recommend them for weight loss.

Lean protein yes, cut down on carbs, increase vegetables. This is how i've lost just over 2st.

I would be more inclined with porridge/oats if I were one for a big breakfast. Although if you are calorie/macro tracking as long as it fits I don't suppose it matters as long as you make cuts elsewhere. Personally I try to keep my sugar consumption down and only really have what's in fruit.

£4 a loaf and over 300 cals for 2 slices?? I'll pass. I'm not a big bread eater anyway, I'd rather save the carbs for fruit and veggies
