There seem to be many people who have a very fixed idea that their perception of Fab is the true character of the site. Some will say 'this is a sex site don't write a f**king essay' or 'no message ping pong' whilst others say 'no one liners, women want to get to know someone before they meet them' etc... For some, fab is about getting rocks off and for others it is a dating site. To each their own. I suppose you just need to make sure that those you chat to understand why you are here and don't worry what others do.

Very true there are quiet a few men pretending to be women or couples , a usual give away is being on the site and no photo verification or meet verification yet they have been on here for over a year.

Though if a woman wants to post or make a profile. It up to them what they write or say. Same goes for us blokes

There's already a poor perception of promiscuous people in general. Especially of women, because they're just sluts to be used who will fuck anything kind of attitude.

This attitude comes from men who don't really know any promiscuous women that well, or have been cheated on by a 'slut' and now degrade those women to deal with that, or are just old fashioned or something idk.

Whatever it is these people won't change their attitude until they really get to know actual people, and treat women like actual people. They are likely to have confirmation bias and only see stuff that confirms what 'these women' are like. The media also doesn't help with this either and has forced women to hide their sexuality away so that being a sexual woman isn't ormal unless it's to make money...kind of fucked up but that's how it is.

Many guys join up to sex sites with this attitude before they join, that's why we keep seeing women moaning about the shit messages they get on here.

One guy i've been flirting with for a while now thinks i'm a sure thing and a slag since he found out i'm on here but before that i was a different person in his eyes. Sad as fuck really, i'm still the same person just his attitude has changed now.

This site doesn't promote that attitude, it's how society treats sexually liberated women on the whole.

I'm not here looking for a fwb,it's nice when you find one but not imperative for me. I don't do impulse meets though,so if someone wants here and now they will be disappointed,or find someone who does. There are loads of people having one off meets. Surely fab is about whatever you want it to be about? If a woman goes out to get wasted and fuck then that is entirely her choice (as is her health and safety). Wether you are here to NSA screw around, find love, swing with a partner or go behind a partner's back; everyone has a story.

Everyone on here knows their own agenda. There is no wrong or right way. People are over 18 on this site and therefore are responsible for how they represent themselves and how they conduct their swinging hobby.

It doesn't matter how fab is perceived by others. We only have to concern ourselves with how we deal with others, we will get those who swing in a similar way as we do and those who do it differently.

I think it's a fairly dangerous attitude to have unless you are with people who will make sure that you don't get in harm's way.

Drinking so much that you don't know who you are is daft, it's bad for your health, puts you in compromising positions and makes you do really, really stupid things. I feel that way if it's a man or a woman doing it.

Any man who thinks that a woman who says this is representative of all women doesn't know many women and if he allows himself to form an attitude about a web site from it he's in for a surprise when he gets here.

And you aren't being judgemental of these women at all.

I see guys posting about being wasted too but you don't seem concerned about their safety.

Trying to use the actions of a few women, (who are doing nothing at all wrong anyway), as a reason to blame them for the attitudes of those men with really, really low opinions of women, is really clutching at straws.

Honestly, yes.

Not everyone, of course, but on several threads I have seen people quote one or two examples and use them to assume that they apply universally.

One of my favourite quotations is the brilliant paradox: "All generalisations are wrong"."

Spot on that Paradox.
