Is 45 a magic number?

Do you 'tweak' your age on fab in the hope of attracting people? Does it work for you or backfire?

My age is there for all to see and I am not concerned about being judged by my long years but interested to hear from people who feel they might be.

No, never felt the need to change my age, sooner look good for 50 then say I'm 40 and look shit, just cause someone says there a certain age doesn't automatically make them look it

Not intentionally. When we set up our profile I put in our average age between the 2 of us.

Makes no difference to us as 99% of the time meet in clubs anyway.

I havent, my age is my age - yes, I am out of some people's ranges, but I still get success on here, so I can't complain.

I know some must do, I have seen profiles on here with one age, then you see them on other sites, including dating sites, with different ages. One I saw was over 10 years difference.

My age is my real age, though I do find all the men I have met who are in their 40's admit to shaving a few years off! And yes it does piss me off, why not just be truthful?

Exactly honesty is the name of the game, age is just a number, however some take it too seriously and think you're well past it and out to graze, when they could well be missing out on something good

I'm getting on, not a school girl anymore, but there's always someone for us. Many people don't care about age much at all.

I've heard of some adjusting their age, to fit the range of their desired target, to stalk or express desire. Maybe profiles should have a warning if age has been adjusted.

I know it's hard for some here but looking like you've been through a nuclear winter, and are curiously still in your youth, won't cut it - where users want a youthful physique to paw at.
