Cynicism on fab

Was reading another post which in style of all the best fab threads inspired this one

You see statements like most couples/females are single males or you can't accom so you must be married/cheating and you're not verified therefore you must be a timewaster all the time. Now not naive enough to be thinking every on here is telling the truth but do you feel your levels of cynicism are higher on here then real life. What trends have you encountered and what's the most common deception you've seen?

For us fake pics mainly in 1 cross section of guys. I guess trying to keep up with the myth is to blame but a lot of the black males we've looked at have had fake pics taken off the internet

I feel like I may be a bit more cynical here than in "real" life. The reason being that people here who want to meet you have an incentive to be deceptive about certain things...

The most common "fake" thing I have experienced has been single guys who say they want to meet but don't when the time comes...

Yeah, I can be synical on here. As a single male we tend to have to work a little harder than single ladies and couples and I'd rather not waste my efforts on fakes. It possibly means I miss out on some great times but I can live with that.

I don't know about cynical but I certainly excercise more caution and have different expectations i.e. anyone not appearing direct and up front is dropped quicker than hot coal.

To many times i have got chatting to people and then 2 days later they say "oh by the way im married or have a partner does that matter" Yes it does matter be honest upfront x

I'm the same on here as I am in real life. Old and wise enough to know that not everything is as it seems or is presented. At the same time I dont assume everything is bull like some do. If I see someone post that is questionable I might have a wry smile but I won't call them out on it. I reserve that for the people who I really think talk crap lol.

We have given up on single men and women and even couples on here

Too much hard work we pay the money and go to a party or club at least we know there are not time wasters there

I'm naturally cynical when it comes to anything online.

But My major pet peeve with couples, is not updating their pics and age. I've thought I was meeting a MILF , but turned out to be a GILF.

When the female half is not playing anymore or the couple has broken up . The male half never seems to update the profile

I've met a lot of liars. And yes my cynicism is way higher on here than anywhere else.

Being unable to accom on it's own wouldn't necessarily make me suspicious but combined with other things it would.

I put it on my profile that i'm not interested in married or cheating guys. Dunno if it worked yet.

Sure is a crazy world we live in eh

I hate dishonest time wasters and those that spoil good things for others with bad attitudes and shallow selfish minds

We all do hope for a nicer place but we have this playground to share let's make the most of it and have fun.

I'm totally straight down the line sex fun happy life crazy. Lol

I'm a cynical old bag here and in real life but I think it's because I actually learn from experience and know how to apply that learning forward. I am most cynical on here about men who tell me I look 35 or a similarly unfeasible compliment.....if you're going to try and get to meet us by flattery at least make it believable or at the very least possible.

I think most women on fabs levels of cynicism is higher than normal but then it is a sex site so it brings a lot of fruitcakes out of the woodwork but hey sometimes its a release to let the barriers down and let someone in

I'm a cynical old bag too.

No one's ever said I look 35 though. Best compliment I get is "you look ok for an older woman". Even from guys my age!!

. Real life and fab are different concepts .

In real life you will meet people face to face and be judged accordingly .

Cyber land is an entirely different concept. Anyone can pretend to be anyone .

I have not found much deception bu then I also assume that any profile of less than fifteen lines is fake . Even if it is fifteen lines or more the content must also be well written and meaningfully .

Anyone on for over a year and either havent' updated their profile as it still says 'new to the site', or has no verifications rings alarm bells with me.

'Can't accommodate' isn't such a big worry as I can't usually accommodate as my kids live with me, it's not because I'm hiding a husband.
