Random one I know, but how does everyone's day jobs compare to their "dream job" I'm a bus driver but looking into being a driver in the army/Air Force, I'd be driving the same sized vehicles just with more toys attached

I too love my job, I am the IT guy at a school and get to flex my problem solving muscles in ways that would never happen in industry...

Sometimes I think it would be nice to make a living out of playing music but I'm not sure the pleasure would be the same is it was a job?

Jap car tuner! Mixed with custom high end audio installs.

Failing that I'd love to try goldsmithing, I love getting mrsdpt jewellery and usually have it custom made.

I'd love to be able to make beautiful pieces that last a lifetime and can be passed down. I think it's a real art form.

Pretty much missed the point of the OP

My day job is pretty boring and nothing particularly exciting but it pays really well, been there since 19 and have no plans to move.

I'm happy with my job and I can't think of another that I'd like more. I'm a gardener.

"I'm happy with my job and I can't think of another that I'd like more. I'm a gardener."

Actually, in a parallel universe I'm a professional dancer and choreographer! Unfortunately in this universe I have ZERO training in this area

Glastonbury

I get up when I like, I work when I like. I go to the office maybe once a month and usually combine it with a spree. Speak to my boss maybe 10 mins a week on the phone?

They don't understand what I do so I get away with a part-time job that pays better than most full-time jobs round here.

And I could do that job standing on my head in one day a week.

I've been on holiday for nearly three years.

On the downside, I need more stimulation...

In an ideal world however, I'd like to be a travel writer...

Go on holiday and get paid to gas about it.

"no job,, that'd be my dream job "

That will be my job from October 16th! Taking voluntary redundancy and by cutting my spending down to as little as possible will allow me to live a bit until the state pension cuts in!

I would say my work is my dream job I have a few wanker customers but they don't last long

The difference between a good day and a shit day is only your attitude

It's only a dream and will never happen but if I had a real chance I would go and happily put my life on the line to try and save them, I admire people who do such jobs, they are a species in intensive care and need all the help they can get
