Has anyone used a selfie stick?

All my photos on my profile were selfies taken on my iPhone but have just recently uploaded a bum pic and not satisfied with the result mind it was difficult to take. Do you think a selfie stick would make things easier? Would really welcome some advice.

I used a selfie stick to take one yesterday. It does make things easier unless you have inspector gadget arms

They are not proving popular publicly but if they do the job fuck every snotty comment made and buy one.

I have seen them in Liverpool going really cheaply in the budget shops.

Get one. You won't be losing much money if you do. Just don't pay top whack.

I use a camera with a timer , set it on a tripod .

Before I take any pictures I try to think the look I want. Plan it out take loads and bin the ones I dont like

You use the timer, most. Cam phones have timers now

They're great for action shots (sports related like cycling or swimming etc, not dirty action shots you relentless perverts)

Useful if you're on holiday too if you aren't inclined to entrust a stranger with your phone to take a pic of you with a well known landmark

I haven't but I have featured in a picture where one was used, looks ridiculous as you can see the stick in it, plus when we were ready, the photographer went to point but it looks like he has his finger up his nose!!

You go to your settings and change it to use the volume button to take a pic. Or another button on the side of the phone.

To take a bum pic you can place your phone opposite your butt and use the timer button. Very useful for those who want a twinkly eye,close-up pic.

"Better" sticks have a blue tooth button on the handle.

My smart phone has voice or motion control,as well as timers

I have a butt pic taken using a selfie stick, OP. It makes it easier, just put your phone on a five second timer then pose.

We bought a little tripod thing you put your phone in. Just video yourself posing and screenshot stills off it.
