Good Afternoon, Fabbers and Friends .

It’s been a jolly busy old morning here in Wacky North Wales. I received a call from the garage to say my car has been repaired, jolly good news but ah the bill! Let’s not bother with money trivialities. It’s good to get her back and I did not blame her in the least for letting me down yesterday. As I said a positive came from a negative. A delightful phone call, goodness what a gorgeous happy singy songy gentle voice with a delightful lilt that greeted me.

So back to the here and now. The Pooch and I were wandering through the woods this morning, the weather seemed undecided in its intent. A little rain, some sun though it was just so good to be out in the beautiful countryside. The birds were busying themselves feeding, getting ready for the long flight that will take them once more to foreign shores. Their song brightening up the woodland in its last flourish of verdant green, a final hurrah before autumn turns the leaves to a myriad of golden colours.

Whilst walking we discussed what would we make for this evenings dinner. The Pooch reminded me that the plumb trees in the garden are overladen with fruit, and a plumbs would make a delicious accompaniment to duck.

So on our return home , we popped over to the plumb tree and relieved it of its gorgeous bounty . Leaving some for our feathered friends. Then off to our local butcher to get the duck .

So tonight folks (the Pooch is prodding me to get on with in and get to the point, ouch! he is using a garden dibber)

What’s for Dinner / Tea ? Do you plan ahead or just see what mood takes you?

Keep it classy, just a tad sassy and never trashy

Taff

The land of grey peas and bacon

I fancy fish and chips and mushy peas out of a newspaper by the sea but alas I don't think that will happen so I will have fish and orange chips from the local chippy

I fancy having someone over to dominate.

But I'll settle for a few beers and a film.

I'd be happy to go classy and eat at a nice restaurant. At home it will probably be sausage and mash or pizza and chips.

They are popular chips in the black country I think they toss the chips in an orange coloured seasoning before frying in beef dripping

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

I'm gonna dig a portion of lasagne that I knocked up a couple of weeks ago out of the freezer, Aunt Bessie is providing the chips, and I'll lob a length of garlic bread in for good measure.

*nips to shop to get some cider before KiannaJ drinks it all
