Run out of messages

Seen a few status updates recently from non site supporters claiming that they have "run out of messages and will chat later."

Is this legit or signs that the person behind the profile is fake. I am unsure if non site supporters are limited on messages because we signed up to silver quite soon after joining.

None site supporter and not limited so far. However, I am a single bloke so I get one message every other week?

Yes there is a limit to all supporters. I was a silver supporter and ran out of messages one day....was quote a shock as had had only ever happened as a non supporter before this....

Now I'm jst greedy and uppd myself to gold

I never came across a limit on my silver, always assumed it was only non supporters.

There is a limit but most people will never reach it, so they must have writers cramp.

Admin have never said what the limit is but it is large

New users who don't have site support are limited. I ran out one evening after chatting to someone. It was near midnight so my counter reset quickly.

There is if you're not a site supporter, unless its changed since I wasn't one as I'd regularly run out chatting to people.

So how would they know they ran out and would the user know if the msg came thru?

When you've run out, if you click on a message to reply, a message comes up saying you've run out of messages, try again tomorrow or something similar.

I see yes. So the one sending it woulnt know but only the user replying know.

I believe it is to do with being a site supporter as when I last got the message to say I'd run out when I tried to reply it said try upgrading. This was a few years ago so it might be different now though.

I'm not a site supporter but I was sure I was told I had a 10 sent messages a day limit. However, today I have sent a little more than 10 and it hasn't stopped me yet.
