Somewhere in North Norfolk

When I was swimming regularly I had my eyelashes dyed.

It was quick and wasn't expensive.

Lancome hypnose waterproof mascara. I only use it on holiday and it withstands snorkelling so can't be bad.

Have them tinted and use clear mascara over the top.

I have sensitive/watery eyes so get mine dyed & if needed wear a clear mascara so I don't look like a panda.

On the odd occasion I do wear mascara it's Younique's 3D - £23 but amazing. Not sure about swimming though....

Have you tried Bi-facil by Lancome on a cotton bud?

I have to be careful to only use it on my lashes and not to rub the skin because I have sensitive eyes too, prone to swelling up. It takes a few minutes but it completely removes any waterproof mascara I've tried it on. I rinse my eyes with water after I've finished, to wash what's left of the Bi-facil off.

Anything oily should take waterproof mascara off but Bi-facil is the best thing I've found.

No problem.

Look out for the small box set you can buy for the same price as a mascara. You get a bottle of their eye make up remover, free. Its amazing stuff. I've found it in debenhams and John Lewis.

Soap and water struggles to move it and you have to pick it off - its THAT strong. Lol!

I used to swim six days a week, in full make up!

When I was thin

I used Max Factor 2000 calorie waterproof mascara, and used a cream eyeshadow with a powder on top.

I found that as long as I didn't touch my face or my eyes, I could go in and out of the water and still look the same after my swim. And this was 2,500km daily.

Broken heart swimming

You're all weirdos... why do you wear make-up to swim?

Mind you I never wear any make-up other than lippy but not to swim.
