So who here works from home? I do, although it does have its advantages, i would much rather be back in my old office.

Do you guys love it or hate it?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I work from home unless I am working elsewhere.

I have to be more disciplined about getting up and walking around when I'm at home. It's really easy to sit at my desk and then forget to get up again and three hours have gone by. Then I take my breaks on Fab!

I'm never on Fab during the day when I work away from home.

I love it, I've worked as a lone ranger pretty much all my life so doing it from home is similar to what I've been used to. It's just a little more comfortable than an office It's terrible

SW London

I was supposed to be doing today ... checked emails and some reading for course I am starting but books too boring and not meaty enough for me ... I like academic. re-arranged the living room, took some furniture up to the new home office, had a natter with a work colleague and was supposed to go to hers, but weather so bad and could not face the bus ... dipped in and out of the forums and conquered a couple of levels on candy crush and farm heroes ... plus ate a packet of crackers, over the whole day, not at once .... hmmm, need to be back at work to get anything done ....

Ahhhh self discipline I know it so well. Now get the flogger out and whip that lazy bottom. ...on second thoughts not a good idea if you've still got work to finish

Home workers, what sort of chair do you have?

I've got an exercise ball chair but it can be a little hard on the botty at times. Plus, when I get distracted I have fallen off.

Yeah I work from home but my productivity does vary and I do prefer to be office based and work for the day as I can fly through what is required and its nice having interaction with the office staff.

I have an array to choose from. A leather office chair for computer work, leather recliner for reading, a bar to stand at, a couch to curl up on and read or use the phone or iPad.

I have stand for my computer so that I can vary between standing and sitting to work. I do take reading to my big chair in the living room.

My kitchen is big enough for me to have a sofa and little set up here. Handy for making brews too.

I have a nice sofa that curves round, my uncle David helped me get it in though as it's a tight squeeze.

"I couldn't work from home. I get distracted far too easily."

I get more distracted in an office with other people; they're always knocking on the door demanding my attention.

I'd put Homes Under the Hammer on then sporadically wobble my mouse until Doctors comes on. Result - no work done.

I work in an open plan office so if I sat there just wobbling my mouse they'd soon notice.

I used to do the odd walkabout to see who hid things or rapidly changed their screen as I approached.

Yes i work at home as well (Marty)

Can be hard not to have a quick check on fab although we are still very new but can be very addictive.

Never had a problem with the work side though gives me the freedom to work when i want not just 9-5.

I couldn't do this, I found it hard enough writing my GC3 report for my Nebosh exam at home.

I run my own business from home in the winter, but during the summer I do a seasonal job. It helps keep me socialised as without it I'm a terrible hermit.

yep I have it imposed on me every wednesady, 10 on the team 8 desks. Helps with childcare but in winter especially it's my light/heat to pay for, offset I guess vs the nil petrol once a week. And as others allude to, the "fab forum temptation" is tough to resist

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I do sometimes, but am less productive than I am in the office.

It's good to have Starbucks Nearby though.

I work from home a lot 3-4 days a week. Though I have a cabin in the garden as an office so I have to leave the house to work
