I've just been told that I have to have a c-section. I scar horribly and have decided that I want a tattoo to cover it. Does anyone have any lower ab/c-section tattoos that they could show me for some ideas?

Thanks

just want to say it's a fab idea.. have a word with your nearest 'good' tattooist for some ideas. There are some great designs around for the upper chest for ladies these days, could be successfully adopted for lower abdom?

I've had three sections you can hardly see the scaring I doubt a tattoo will be needed to cover it

the cuts only a few inches long and right on your pubic line the natural crease masks it

I tend to keloid scar which is why I'm a bit concerned. But thank you. This is 3rd baby but 1st c-section, I feel a bit like a fish out of water.

I think a tattoo is a fab idea! However scar tissue and tattoo doesn't go well the ink doesn't take as well. Once healed go see a lack tattoo shop for advice

masectomy scar cover ups are gaining popularity nowadays, so certainly worth talking to a very good artist about it.

i would talk to a reputable tattooist....sure i saw in miami ink (the experts obvs) that it was harder to tattoo over keloid scars
