"I think it's a shame to outsource it. I still rely on the MetOffice for my forecasts. " With the loss of the money from the BBC will they still be able to do all that they do? I'm not sure what will happen to the Countryfile forecast; it's my favourite one. | |||

"The Met Office weather reports are dumbed down anyway. Since when has a cloud mass been described as a 'lump'? " Should we just do away with the forecasts on the BBC? That would save them a lot more money than awarding the contract to a cheaper provider? | |||
