Men being awkward to buy for...

I'm going absolutely berserk attempting to decide what to buy my fwb for his birthday... I'm trying to nail the fine line of themes that he likes, something that's a novelty but something that he uses. So far I'm buying him a nice new tongue stud, BUT the second present is irritating me.

I'm swaying between Sponge Bob swimming/board shorts - he likes Sponge Bob, he swims & surfs - or a mug with the South African flag on it filled with South African candy, as he grew up there. The last choice is a Eat, Sleep, Surf, Repeat t shirt. Help

Jay has everything I tend to buy him books and we go on treats instead.

He's having his Christmas present 3rd/4th sept.

I've got tickets to see his favourite jazz band ( he's never seen them live) and staying overnight in a hotel.

So that's Christmas done and dusted

Coincidentally... I have a pair of his Sponge Bob boxers! They were a running joke between us, then one day cos he knew I loved them he gave them to me. They still serve as pyjama bottoms for me.
