I've seen quite a few profiles with disclaimers on.

Is there any point to them?

I dont reply to anyone with them on. If their so far up their own arses to seriously think someone wants to study their profile or steal it their not for me

I don't think it's people being 'up their own arses'...people may, particularly new people, believe they are advisable because of seeing other profiles with it displayed.Of course they are pointless because you do not have more rights for stating them or less for not stating them.

Not being funny but although we don't have a disclaimer, we did find someone had used an exact duplicate of our profile on this same site! Idiots then went and messaged us about meeting a few months later!!

(oh and we're not up our own arses!!)
