"Have you tried one of those vibration plates? Instead of intensive resistance workouts the vibration plate machines work on the tendons and/or specific muscle groups. Some of them are better than others (just to say), their vibration and oscillation speeds differ greatly - the better ones offer tri-plane oscillations. "4 weeks after busting 3 ribs, I'm through the excruciating pain bit, and have started to train again albeit very light (no pull-ups at the moment lol) I'm still in a lot of pain, can't get comfortable and I'm fed up. If I don't train, I'm agitated and bored. My friends have been fabulous, very gentle and doing most of the work lol, but, a bit like training, I need physical sex. Any medical types on here? Pain isn't an issue, just wondering, can I do any damage if I grow some grit my teeth and go for it (in the gym I mean), not in my nature to be a pussy, but don't want to set myself back.......help ![]() If you go back to doing strenuous exercise too soon after fracturing ribs, there's a very real danger that you could re-break one or more and get internal injuries as a result. Your heart and/or lungs could be pierced by a fractured bone and you would die fairly rapidly. Is it really worth taking the chance? | |||
