Wondering if anyone would like to top my weekend with a worse story?

Booked 1/2 day off work Friday to drive 120 odd miles to visit friends for the weekend. Been lovely Friday night catching up & Saturday seeing others of their family along with a new baby. Anyhow yesterday afternoon out of nowhere BOOM! Full scale row between father & daughter which brought mom into it. End case scenario is dad packs case & walks out after hugging me goodbye!

To say i was uncomfortable is an understatement. I am hoping to be on route home in a couple of hours & i be glad to go for a change.

as awkward as it was for you to witness i would say that their weekend has been worse and they are probably highly embarrassed that you witnessed it all.

That truly sounds like an awful weekend for all involved. If he's gonna leave in such a public fashion,it sounds like the mum and kid are better off without him

Horrible! The row probably didn't come out of nowhere I bet there was tension before and it seems strange that he left after rowing with the daughter.

Bet it's nice to be back to the sane world of the fab fora where nobody argues with anybody else

I was ill yesterday but feel better today and am hoping to get a lot done.

It hasn't been the best weekend ever but it certainly hasn't been the worst either.
