Morning all. Yeah, some people seem so desperate to get their end away.... Surely it must be a bit off putting if they're willing to travel far.

Harrogate,- well, depends how well we are getting on........

I'm not sure I'd travel 200 miles for a meet, but I've travelled a fair few miles in the past.

If the chemistry and attraction are there, why not?

Some people work all over the place, so 200 miles apart one day could be just around the corner the next.

I've known people with plenty of miles between them meet half way.

I don't see it as desperate, if the mutual interest is there go for it.

It depends if you really connect with sombody and it's obviously more than just a fuck. I regularly drive to jaydees for a night or a weekend out because I love the club. So why not travel for sombody that special enough. so long as they are willing to return the trip I don't see a problem

Yeah. I can imagine it would be.....there's got to be a 'limit' as to what most people would consider a respectable 'yeah, I'll jump in the car and head over to you' distance without thinking about it. Above that, and it's just desperation

I say in my profile I'm not comfortable with guys travelling more than 30 miles of me. Past experience has shown me with travelling comes expectations! So they then lie and say an hour plus journey takes 20mins tops! I do have google maps you know

199? I just view those who contact from long distance as possible meets if someone is coincidentally traveling for something else.

Everyone is different and I can appreciate that people don't always just want another hole.

As for expecting me to do very long distance travel only for that - I don't think so.

I'll travel for someone if it's someone I've known for quite a while on here. Might not necessarily be for sex might just be to finally meet that person you've been chatting to for months or over a year and you just want to meet them in person. It's unlikely I'd travel hundreds of miles just for sex with someone I don't really know

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I'll be travelling 240 miles today and will be meeting a lovely gentleman for reacquaintance. Difference is I don't drive, so the train is taking the strain, and I'm travelling for work.

If someone offered to drive miles just to see me I'd turn them down, because I know they don't mean it.

I've had men say "I can drive" when they've messaged me and I've pointed out they are hundreds of miles away.

I would be uncomfortable with the idea of anyone travelling that far to meet me, in case we weren't attracted to each other. It might be harder to say no if they'd travelled a long way.

I like to travel. Train, iPod, good book. If I get to meet someone I've been chatting to for a while whilst travelling then I have no issue. As to them travelling specifically to meet me; I'd rather meet halfway. Puts us both in the same boat.

Does it really matter? Lots of people travel and if they believe there's connection it's hardly an odd thing to do in this modern day and age?

Some live in rural areas with limited choices of interested people. I agree desperate offers to travel may seem odd,but necessarily so, if both parties have chatted for awhile exploring mutual interest?

I have shared on here before about the lengths some will go, (in my case just to have their cock sucked)lasting no more than ten mins in some cases,& sometimes less..This highlights the power of sex/desire/etc.

I always point out the distance and the fact that each town & city will have people like me..mind you I am not complaining, just astonished how far people will go

I can understand the fuck-n-go merchants not willing to travel any distance, but, if you've spent weeks communicating with someone, written and verbally, and you just know in your bones you'll get on, regardless of the sex, then why not travel?

If the sex turns out to be shite there's always the spare room or the sofa but you've had yourself a nice mini break with some decent company.

We love clubs and on our rare nights away we are happy to travel either for a club night or just because.

No reason we couldn't combine meeting some of our favourite fabbers with one of our trips away, even if just for a social. Our usual day when away by ourselves is a tasty lunch and cocktails, so happily meet site friends for that and see where things lead then or in the future.

So for us, yes we would travel some distance to meet others, but our meet would be am element of our trip rather than the only reason for it.
