I make raw beetroot smoothies (plus lime, ginger, plus some fruit or berries) and the results can be interesting

Used to have beetroot sarnies as a kid.

Had dripping sarnies too.

Crisp sarnies.

Banana sarnies.

Pretty much anything in a sarnie really.

Cheese, beetroot & salad cream sarnies are good..

Crisp & banana sarnies (not together obvs!) remind me of my childhood, happy days.

You are totally right there my friend, I have never had one but my parents were partial to bread & dripping ~ my dad being from way way up north

Dripping on toast at my gran's. What I don't understand is why the rest of the country hasn't cottoned onto the joy that is a dripper or a lardy cake.
