Days after the extra-marital website Ashley Madison was hacked and users' details published online, members of another dating website, Plenty of Fish, have been warned they may have been exposed to malicious spying software which could have been installed on their computers without their knowledge. This threatens to leave users at risk of having their bank account and credit card details exposed to hackers.

Experts at Malwarebytes have warned that anyone who has visited the website in the last couple of days could have the malware - referred to as Tinba - secretly installed on their computer.

Once installed on a computer, this 'banking Trojan', runs in the background on the user's computer while it waits for users to enter sensitive financial information such as bank account and credit card details, recording every detail.

Malwarebytes experts claim to have found evidence that Plenty of Fish's users, which are estimated to number around 12 million in the UK, had been targeted.

The virus logs keystrokes on your computer when you visit your online banking and gets your passcode etc .
