watching the remake of the evil dead as I type on film 4 if your interested ,but what remake do you think beats the original ?

I'm watching it too, it's terrible!

No remake of any film I've seen's been an improvement on the original.

For a horror film I've seen worse but as a remake it's shit how can you remake a classic

Like I said it's not a bad horror film and well made but as a remake it sucks anybody watching it who hasn't seen the original might thing it's ok

much prefer the original but the original uk version is cut on rerelease

but I have the original uncut version as kinda shows alot more detail

Didn't think much of the remake. But then I don't really like many remakes..

If it ain't broke it don't need fixing IMO!

The 80s version of The Thing is the best, that's a remake. Plus Heat (can't beat a bit of deNiro vs Pacino). I liked the Coen brothers' True Grit as well.

can anyone remember what the zombie film was called late 80s early 90s,when a army jeep loses a barrel of chemicals in a grave yard and the dead begin to rise,and by the end I think they killed a lot of zombies on a huge electric fence....

Has the potential to be a great series as long as they can keep it fresh and don't try to drag it out.
