Hello.

I'm going holiday in 2 weeks and unfortunately the dreaded period will be due whilst I'm over there!

I don't want it to stop me being a slut so I'm thinking of getting those Beppy Tampons.

Has anyone used them? Are they any good?

Amazon's reveiews are either great or shit. Just wondered if its a waste of money.

Would a guy notice. Do they stop blood flow completely and are they hard to get out?

You can buy it privately online, too. It'll cost more than an NHS prescription.

Never use anything .. am so light anyway, it a. does not get in the way of fun and b. mean the end of the world if you don't get that area involved .... its two weeks and I don't think I would alter the bodily processes with drugs for the sake of that

Beppys work perfectly well , use the moist ones .

They can be a bit hard to get out if you've had a proper hammering from a particularly vwe guy , but it's not that difficult .

And they do stop any embarressing moments .

If you want a male perspective, beppy tampons are hardly noticeable and are really clean.

Thank you. I had never heard of norethisterone before! Trying to see my GP before I go is like looking for a unicorn so just ordered some online. I hope they work!

There's some walk in GP services dotted around the place, something to bear in mind for next time. And some GPs will prescribe it over a phone consultation (you can usually get one the same day).

This.

But I do pay the price when I stop taking it, makes my periods more painful and heavier when it does appear

Beppy tampons are sponges without strings. It absorbs the menstruation and "plugs" around the cervix to avoid leakage.

Norethisterone is a hormonal pill, progesterone. It's used to delay periods.

Beppy wet tampons have a small hole in which you can attach a piece of dental floss to to use as a string - if you're playing with a regular and he's aware that you may be using them then it won't bother him.

They made me retain water really badly. I was a size 12 at the time and I blew up like a big squishy water balloon - moon face and all. I stopped taking them but it still took weeks to get back to normal. And my skin dried out and flaked when the swelling went down. It was a bit of a nightmare.

I don't know of anyone else who has had this reaction but it's worth being aware of. Maybe take the Beppy tampons as well as a back-up option?

Thanks for clarifying... never heard of Beppy tampons before. They sound pretty gross. I take the drugs!

No side effects and I've used them for years.

You have to start taking them several days before you expect your period, if I recall correctly.

I've never experienced any adverse reaction from noresthisterone myself.

They work very well for me. Taken 3x a day starting 3 days before period is due and just stop when holiday is over. X

I used to use these quite often for holidays and they were fantastic for me! I had a few stomach cramps, but I got these anyway when I had a period. Go for it, but just be aware there are side effects,as with any medication! Good luck!
