If you went to a dinner and you could choose someone to do a motivational speech, who would be your top choice and why?

Katie hopkins and kerry katona...

Hopefully someone would be motivated to 'take them out' and save some precious oxygen for somebody who nedds it...

But on a serious note, David Attenborough because he's just fantastic.

He overwintered in Northern Greenland for a walk to the North Pole. After the months of waiting he then decided he would abandon the trip because his sledge was too heavy. Preparation? Not a great explorer in my eyes but agree he can be witty

"Motivational for what ?

I don't quite know.

I'm just looking for inspiration and I found a website for after dinner speaker types. Not quite sure on the theme for it.

by the big field

Seen dozens of public/after dinner/ motivational type speakers.

If you want funny & entertaining, nobody will beat Barry Cryer.

If you want somebody that will truly leave your bottom jaw on the floor, Martine Wright. You've maybe never heard of her? She was sat pretty much next to one if the tube bombers, she almost died several times before getting to hospital and lost both legs. She's since gone on to take part in the 2012 Paralymics and talks quite candidly about how her life changed from that day. There's few people that can hold my interest for 30 minutes and fewer still that i think deserve the standing ovation she received- pretty remarkable lady
