So,last week my downstairs neighbours were having some building work done. I went out to take some rubbish on the day they left - and the day that the recycling bin had been emptied - and they had already filled the blue bin and both the green bins... would it not have been more considerate to the tenets of the building to just hire a skip??

(I'm a bit ARGH this morning.)

Don't think they are allowed to do that. I work in the building trade and we always remove our rubbish from site or hire a skip. Phone them up and complain.

I'm highly tempted. The fact that they left a bath out in the front garden for days too was ridiculous. As was their really shitty music.

Oh. Our Green ones are for garden rubbish. Makes sense to me.

If it's building rubbish report it.

Also if they filled your recycling bin with building rubble that is not allowed. You could report them to the local council if you have the name of the company who did the work?

I'm not sure of the company name but I could ask my neighbour. Yeah, it just looks like rubble.
