I don't normally kill threads. But like many of us I imagine - I contribute a salient comment on a thread that I think is amazing, outstanding, wonderful - convinced I'll start a whole new debate - then nothing! It disappears in the void!!

Killing someone else's thread is often unavoidable.

Killing my own, that's a real gift......

When I've slautered someone else's I'm often tempted to PM them and apologise, especially if it's a great thread.
