try elderflower cordial have a cup of it hot every morning works for me, well it did till I moved up here and the hayfever seems to have disappeared not sure why and not complaining either. You can get the cordial at Tesco's or any supermarket but if you can get homemade local stuff its better cos its made with the pollen thats affecting you. Give it a try and hope it works Silv xXx

a daily dose of natural honey d*unk in some warm water is ment to be helpfull

as it carryies a small amount of pollen so in time its ment to build up your defence from the pollen that you are allergic to

I have a WW2 Gas Mask if you want to borrow it ?

Seriously though, I get it really bad and the only 2 things that have worked for me for many years now, are prescription medicines.

1) Otravine Antastin - Eye drops

2) Beconase Aqueous - Nasal spray

They work well for me, but I appreciate not for everyone - it also depends upon they type of pollen to which you are allergic to.

Well , im not far from farm land and they cut the rapeseed and boy does it get me.

And grass and tree pollen too.

It seems real bad this year for some reason ?

Dont wanna do the prescription unless i have to .

So will try the natural remedies.

but keep the gas mask handy pleeze

yeah you are supposed to get honey from local bees. also a tip is to sleep with your bedroom windows closed off a night and take medication before you go to bed also. now i dont know whether the honey is to be taken orally.....lol....but all sounds good to me....especially the bit about the tongue PleasureDome

How's everyone doing with their hayfever this year? I tend to suffer worst in the mornings and evenings (sat here sniffling, feeling pathetic).

it does happen our youngest lad suffered horendously with it and was dreading this summer as he had hidden the fact from the army as he worried it might stop them accepting him so when they gave him his joining date in june he worried like crazy and decided to try n kid them it was his first year of suffering and hope it didn't effect things

so imagine his joy when they started saying how high the pollen count was and he hadn't had a single symptom in fact the week before we took him he had a bunged up nose and didn't know if it was a cold or hayfever turned out to be a cold, bonus never been so pleased to have a cold

they say things go in 7 year cycles no idea if thats just an old wives tale but it was 7 years he suffered with it oddly enough

bloody good timing on it doing a bunk though hey would of made his training horendous bless him

Was hay fever a 70s disease? Everyone seemed to be at it back then.

Hay man, how's it hanging?

Hay dude, how's tricks?

Even the Beatles sang about it, Hay Jude.
