Hated Bullfighting when I lived in Spain and refreshingly more Spanish are starting to feel the same way hence an Impromptu plaza invasion recently.

Killing animals for entertainment is so medieval.

Many don't like the tradition of bull-running, but surely no-one can be happy that these people have died.

Not happy but I feel indifferent about it

It really does not bother me

How many bulls die each years

It's only 7 people, they went, they knew what the bull run was about, they took their chances and lost

Meh *shrugs shoulders*

Central

We need to stop such barbaric cruelty to animals across Europe - preferably the world. The EU should push some charter or other forwards, that prevents animal cruelty.

There is legislation but it mostly relates to animal testing or animals raised and killed for food.

To be honest, I wouldn't wish someone dead, however, I'm of the view that it pretty much serves them right.

I'm not celebrating their deaths. However, they would have, or should have known the risks of what they were doing. They had a choice, the bulls didn't.

They brought it on themselves and I have no sympathy.

I do, however, feel a great deal of sympathy for the bulls.

Those people made their choice, tough shit if it killed them.

The bulls don't get the same privilege.

Just an add-on Cows kill 6 this year in Switzerland and year isn't finished.

Every year cows kill people, who come too near their calves or let their dogs run around... In the States think it's on average 22 people per year who cows trample to death

I think what the Spanish do in Spain is up to them, don't think it's our place to impose. However I hate the whole thing, would never go to a bull fight etc and if the Bulls win a couple good it might help the Spanish stagger in to the 21st century!!! Barbaric none sense, not actually that old a tradition in Soain either in the grand scheme of things

It's the last cultural remnants of the historical, Roman practice of killing in the area for entertainment.

I would rather have had the life of a Spanish fighting bull, which are revered in Spain and given the best of everything to make them strong and healthy and to die in the ring than to be a young british bull with a shit life and murder for meat at the end of it

Shit life? If a Bull remains "whole" then it gets the best life and is very well looked after. If it's it's up to it he can shag all flipping day long with his pick of the herd while chilling in a field scaring ramblers

Spanish bull gets his neck muscles cut so he can't flip his head up he's then tormented and tortured to death by increments all the time while being stabbed in the neck by various tossers dressed like idiots.

I know which life I would choose.
