Trimming the Bush

My favourite scent is jasmine, I absolutely adore it so around 2 year ago I hunted high and low for a plant to produce my favourite smell (it's the one that flowers yellow if anyone's interested).

I finally found one and planted it at either side of the garden arch. Being so busy I haven't really had the time to keep it under control and all of a sudden it's like the triffids!

We've spent all morning trimming and pruning and we now have some nice shapely bushes to admire - and they smell delightful!

Moral of the story - keep on top of your bush trimmings!

P.s this is what happens when I have random days off, total ramblings!!

I have a Jasmine in the garden, I use the flowers in my green tea, ramble on at will about plants.

Ooh do you? How do you do that then? I've grown all sorts but never actually put any of it to good use yet!

I usually buy Jasmine Green Tea, but during the flowering months, I make Green tea and just drop a Jasmine flower into the cup, then pick it out just before drinking, the scent is much nicer with fresh flowers.
