It is and always has been an international site although I believe it originates and is run from Britain.

Y'all is a Texan/Southern thing, I happen to quite like it but I've always loved the southern states and the people.

Y'all tends to be common in the south - but far from California.

We get a fair few US visitors, sometimes in the forums. Have had a few messages.

If you're going overseas, it's always worth a look who's around.

I've had locals message me when in Sydney, so users do check you out in other spots.

Maybe a lot of the forum chat is a little too UK centric, but it's only was people based here are the predominant user base.

Well ma ex's dad lived in Columbus and her gran in Phoenix, we spent 4 days driving up Route 66 between the 2, mostly off the freeway when I was driving

Was on an American based swingers site before I joined here, but it had an international mix of people. Site was good when I first joined but in the end got pissed off with all the constant crappy site updates, they never listened to customer feedback and the site was unrecognisable when I left compared to when I joined there. My profile is still there but I don't use it any more. Fab is a million times better in my opinion.

I lived in Boston for 2 years and never once had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I did however have sandwiches that did appear to contain a whole pig in various forms. Now that is fab y'all

THE 72OZ STEAK RULES

Before the time starts, you will be allowed to cut into the steak, and take one bite. If the steak tastes good and is cooked to your satisfaction, we will start the time upon your acceptable approval. The time will not stop, and the contest is on, so make SURE before you say “yes.”

Once you have started you are not allowed to stand up, leave your table, or have anyone else TOUCH the meal.

You will be disqualified if anyone assists you in cutting, preparing or eating of your meal. This is YOUR contest.

I, and every American, call that Jello. I know it's a brand, but that's what it's called. The same way what you call plasters are called band-aids in the US, even though that's technically a brand name.

Did you know Velcro is actually a brand name as well? The stuff we all call Velcro is actually called "hook and loop fastener." No lie.

I, the Fem, am in pensacola,florida at the moment with family and right in the "Bible belt" have met some wonderful people who hug everyone and say ya'll all day long. Am having a blast talking to them as much as they love my accent too. I'm also atheist and have had some very interesting conversations. Feel I've made some great friends over the past 3 weeks and all plan to stay in touch.

We don't say aluminium wrong. We spell it aluminum, and it's actually the original spelling. Europeans changed it to aluminium because they wanted it to match the other elements on the periodic table (helium, calcium, etc).

I'm with Courtney on this one. Jelly (seedless jam) and jelly (party food) are both just set fruit juice and sugar. The only difference is that the former is solidified with pectin from the fruit pips, and the latter by adding gelatin.

Jam, is of course jam and is only ever available tomorrow.
