Beautiful Scottish Winter Poem

Looking out at the snow this morning as i was wrapped up in my duvet enjoying a hot tea, i was reminded of this very precious poem...simply called 'Winter' and written...I say written, it's more crafted, by the wonderful Abigail Elizabeth McIntyre.

WINTER

When the icy winds blow,

All the trees face North,

As Winter set upon them,

Its frozen mark of ownership.

And naked branches,

Shiver in the twilight,

As though dawn will return a leafy blanket,

With which to thaw them.
