Xmas decorations

Ok peeps when is the right time to put up your Xmas decorations then ? We do it on the 17th Dec. What about everyone else ?

12 days before is the tradition.

13th Dec. would be the perfect day but that's a Monday so ours are going up on Sun 12th.

We do ours two weekends before xmas day on a Saturday normally

First weekend in December, used to like putting them up on the 1st, but if that falls midweek just don't have the time to do them justice so has to wait until the weekend. Spent to much money on them to only see them for a few days!!

Tend to leave the Tree up all year,

Stops having to take the dog for a walk!

Hehe fannylicker. Saw a tree that blows snow out the top catches it in an upside down umbrella , So no need for the cat litter tray,

never if i had my way.

ruin the decor and most are cheap fire hazards.

in fact i enjoy ripping the things down.

mine are up already...though other than the massive tree in the window of the dining room, it's very subtle...the odd angel ornament and garland
