Shampoo advert

Cardiff

There's an ad on telly for shampoo with a big notice at the bottom of the screen .....

"Don't shampoo your eyes"

I think most of us already know that having learnt the hard way at a very young age!

So the big question is .......

Why do you think they've put this warning up?

Because the worlds has gone litigation crazy and also people are idiots.

So they don't get sued.

It's nothing to do with society getting more stupid, because it isn't. It's to do with people trying to protect themselves if something wrong happens and they might get blamed for it.

The new range rover ad is just as bad..... when he gets the dogs and sledge in the car... then at the bottom of the screen it says "always know the depth of water"

Ouch! When I stab my eye with this pen it hurts.

Why didn't the people who make it or the people who sold it to me tell me, that if you stab yourself in the eye with the pen it hurts?

Right I am off to write a letter to Matt Albright. Or Dominic littlewierd.

Maybe they should also write on the bottle not to shove it up your arse.

Might save a few embarrassing trips to casualty!.

Because if someone does and the manufacturers havnt advised against it then for some stupid reason the manufacturer is at fault and can be sued,

Examples include, using washing up liquid to clean video heads, driver remaining in seat while a winnebago is moving, both successfully sued manufacturer as wasn't stated otherwise

Central

Coffee cup warnings - attention, contents may be hot.

Someone sued, before there was a warning.

What's Fabs warning? If they were to have one.

That advert has the woman actually shampooing her face, if some people see things on the telly they believe it....it's how the masses are duped.....so the advertiser has to point out that although they're showing a woman shampooing her face it isn't wise.

My cafetiere tells me that children and hot liquids don't mix......no shit!

I'm still gutted that a certain brand doesn't give me an orgasm. Can I sue them for false advertising?

I reckon it's time all health and safety notices on all products were banned.

Would just be a natural deselection process, like the Darwin awards
