Has anyone ever felt so confused when you come across a profile you cannot _iew and you realised you've been blocked, yet you've never messaged the profile or even seen it before !?

Perhaps someone recognises me and doesn't want me knowing they are on here? Any other valid reasons..

Some on here _iew profiles and if they think you're not a match based on your profile and pics they will simply block. Saves the hassled of you potentially sending them a message or wink and wasting yours and their time. Don't take it personally, there are plenty more fish in the sea after all.

All reasons for blocking are valid to the ones doing the blocking. Blocking is no more personal than people not wanting to interact with you on a train or in a restaurant.

That's right saves you contacting them, also you can do a reverse block so you block them to.

When they do that do they mail the profile owner so they know their profile is suspended?

A few years ago my laptop crashed. I took it to be repaired and the guy said it had so many virus's that even the virus's had virus's and was worst infected computer as a result of downloading porn he had ever seen. I felt so proud of myself

Nope. I move on. I don't usually care why I'm blocked.

There are one or two people on here whose blocking me would make me sad, but very few.

I had a couple have a bit of a go at me in the forum once, claiming I was using the forum to get round the block and converse with them. I had absolutely no idea they'd blocked me, I never look at couples profiles, I have couples blocked from messaging me in my filters as I have no interest in meeting couples. It happens so don't worry about it.

Sometimes during a search we've read a profile that we realise we've read all the way before then get to the last paragraph and see that we wouldn't be a match with that person/couple. So to save a bit of time we block them, saves our time and theirs. They're probably really nice people etc it's just our needs/wants are different.

I've managed to block people and even delete them from my friends list due to multi tasking when using fumble fingers on an iPhone. OP: they hate you.

I very often block if someone constantly veiws my profile or when someone's news feed does my head in like posting same pics everyday

I had a message last night and fool me took me 9 mins to reply in which time he'd blocked me! Wouldv'e quite liked to get to know him too. Damn must reply quicker.

This. Plus I tend to block who is too local to me. Nothing personal just living too close.

I'd say that anyone doing that isn't worth knowing. I was getting on well with a lady a while back but forgot to reply until the next day, she blocked me after saying I was rude.. Lucky escape I think

I do this too. Why are they looking at my profile ten times a day but not bothered with a msg or a wink. Also anyone that sends a copy and paste long msg that clearly hasnt read my profile gets blocked...my list is long but dwindles out the unwanted...its not me being rude just select full.

I sometimes use the 'see who's near' option and then systematically block everyone within a 10 mile radius...

why? because I can!

Also the one that have messaged you two or three times already and Iv politely already told them they are not my type. And the wow I think you are beautiful even though all my face pics are private
