"pagan ritual followed by hot sex "

Now that would definitely get me interested!

Haha things for me will hopefully be calming down soon so I'll be able to concentrate on what I actually want to do with my life. I just hope my memory can cope with all the new information

"Raised Pagan by my Wican Mother much to the annoyance of my Catholic Father."

One thing I like about Wicca (and there isn't much) is that it is a truly English religion, and its been round long enough for Wiccans to have had kids who were raised Wiccans. OK, we're a bit far from the multitude of Christians, but it took hundreds of years for Christianity to get going.

Not sure what your point was to be honest. The post was about who is or was pagan, not ancient invasions.

My Mum was born in Salisbury near lay lines and was raised Wican by her Mother. She always said to me that there was no Christianity in the country until the Romans invaded and that I should never be ashamed to be of pagan heritage..

Actually, although Constantine was baptised here, we didn't have Christianity until the Saxons brought it over.

Britain still has an awesome pagan heritage. All those henges, stone circles, and standing stones.

My Father was a very lapsed Catholic and wasn't that religious much to his families annoyance. He was well.aware of my.Mother's beliefs when they met and love won out over religion

It depends on your definition of Pagan.

New age Wiccan/druidism that has no basis in anything historical as there is nothing written and no direct lineage? No

New age pseudo gothic with basis in victorian horror/erotica generally wearing black and with obsessions with graveyards and ouija boards? No

Generic non traditional christian beliefs which include animistic and humanistic philosophies..more like it

Aaah this is why I'm lapsed. It never took long for the 'witchier than thou' crowd to pop up.
