It was on the news. She had a apple fone and if someone is near they got an option to send pics and she got send a penis pic on the tube. She was upset and reported it to the police.

They will make it a law against it now.

What you recon? He pressed to send to anyone and not to contacts. I think she did the right thing.

. I think it is already an offence to send indecent images . It was a pretty stupid thing to do and I would expect anyone doing this to be prosecuted .

I can't see much difference to a guy flashing in person - an unsolicited sexual message is wholly inappropriate and she was right to complain. The same would be true of course if anyone sent sexually explicit messages (men, women or couples) not limited to just men.

. Someone was prosecuted a few years ago for sending indecent images . From memory they sent an indecent image to all their phone contacts in error . Some of these contacts were under 16.

Companies get away with this nonsense while regular people get prosecuted (not saying regular people who do illegal things shouldn't be prosecuted). Companies need to start being held accountable.

By Default you can only send /receive to people in your contact list.

Remember when Bluetooth first came in, I had the option to accept any incoming Bluetooth multimedia things without approving the connection. Used to get lots of weird and wonderful things sent to me, ringtones, videos, pictures!

Forget what choice the sender has, the receiving phone by default can only accept from contacts.

iPhones use airdrop to send pics, documents, etc. to any nearby iPhones. But the receiver would have had to turn on their airdrop to receive.

Still not good though to be sent an unsolicited pic. Hope he gets caught!

She didn't accept the pic, so police have no evidence.
