Bradford

One for the Lord of the Rings fans. Anyone want to contribute towards the £1.85 BILLION to build a full scale city in southern England?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/film/lord-of-the-rings/minas-tirit-crowdfund/

As of right now, they have raised £24,034

Why build it in Southern England? Better off by a Welsh or Scottish mountain. South of England is already economically ahead of the rest of the country, a build such as this would bring tourists in from all over the world for centuries and more than pay for itself. But south England? No.

I agree. Needs mountains in the background.

The earthquakes from fracking will sort that out.

Actually, could build it on Roseberry Topping, right at the top of the North York Moors the views from it would be superb, as well as a sea view. Near a major port and not far from a growing airport, close by to a reasonably sized urban area and well established seaside resorts.

Roseberry Topping.

Roseberry Topping sounds like the name of a lady Hobbit.

"Roseberry Topping. Roseberry Topping sounds like the name of a lady Hobbit. "

Or her name and what the other Hobbits did to her....

A Google image search for you, it'd be perfect, someone tell them: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Roseberry+Topping&es_sm=122&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAWoVChMI5YmYtN6mxwIVBQbbCh3pnwMZ&biw=1920&bih=955

If you want a city surrounded by walls just go to York.
