Avatar challenge - book covers

I love the cover of Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z Brite, so have just recreated it as my new avatar. Sort of!

This is probably too niche for a lot of people, but if you have any ideas which would be good, or any that you want to do, post them here.

It's summer holidays time, so no winners, it's just for fun.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I have ideas but hate doing my own photos so even if I intend to play, I probably won't get round to it.

Great challenge though.

I'd love to take part, but the average Paperback book is 8.5", so sadly, I won't fit.....

All of the books within reach at the moment have covers featuring young women in skintight leather or similar, sometimes with swords or guns...

Not a look I could pull off, I fear.

I love the idea of this as a lover of books. It might be difficult to find one iconic enough for people to recognise x

I loved the original I, Lucifer cover - but it's a dark suit and silver tie. Everybody now would just think the 50 sheds book

That's why I put the name of the book with mine

That's an original idea ~ I can think of a few but not sure if I have enough time to sort one out.

I will try & have a go this week.

I love books! Although looking at the stack on the coffee table I would be hard pressed to recreate one of the covers (currently there are three waiting to go upstairs; Walking on Glass by Iain Banks, The Collected Fairy Tales of Alison Uttley and Lost Girls by Alan More) unless I was comfortable getting my face out publicly. I shall still have a think because I love the idea but am about to go away for a few days so might not get an opportunity to take one. But to the idea regardless.

A lot of vampire, lycanthrope, magic, supernatural stuff.

The nearest book is about a vampire hunter. She's represented on the cover in tight black leather with a crossbow.
