there is a new ghostbusters film being made, a reboot but what film do you think they should redo

I think jaws because of the effects they can do now but they should keep it the same, that you don't see that shark for the first 30 mins or so and that haunting music

Nice idea..although I think you cannot beat an original..I'd love Tim Burton to do a dark version of The Wizard of Oz...

I agree.

There are so many reasons that Jaws is a great film. The story, the script, and the three main actors for starters, and it still has the power to shock today...

I just think they could make that shark look so much more realistic, it scared the crap out of me though, I lived 2 miles from the sea growing up and still could not watch it with my feet not up on the sofa lol

Titz Towers, North Notts

Dune, but give it the Game of Thrones treatment. Neither film nor mini series is up to much, although the film does have some charm.

Just cut down on the sequences where the shark is in plain view. It doesn't need to be. And is more threatening and menacing when hinted at.

Has anyone seen a remake that was better than the original?

A remake of the 1989 movie Warlock would be good as long as it doesn't have jump scares every 5 mins and remains faithful to the original movie.

The running man, scarface and full metal jacket would be great if remade well not some of the dross that gets done badly although I think remakes are never quite as good as originals

Ghostbusters is being done with an all female cast apparently

I've had a look into the new Ghostbusters movie and to be honest, I do have some faith in this movie as it does seem to be respectful to the original source material.

The jumpsuits and the proton packs look similar to the originals in design but with some slight changes here and there. The new look of the Ecto 1 isn't bad either plus it has the original GB logo intact which is great.

If I remember correctly, Ivan Reitman (director of GB1 + 2) is producing this movie and Dan Akroyed is said to have a cameo appearance in this too.

I just hope the original theme song returns in this remake and if it does, I will be so happy.

Imagine watching it on a lake, floating on a rubber ring, at night.

As for remaking a film, biker boys or torque, as both are terrible. They can only improve it.

But think a reimagining of a movie could be interesting, love slutandmasterc's idea of a dark version of wizard of oz.

Mostly though I would prefer a GREAT sequel or a spin off movie based on the original.

I mean you would have an out cry suggesting remaking star wars, but sequels and spin offs...
