How do you tackle these bloody things

I fancy wearing some but have tried two lots and the bloody goes is terrible

End up with everything stuck

Help

What's the best ones to buy and where from

Need something that sticks properly

Don't want dead ones falling off

Using tweezers helps a lot and good glue Mac do a good glue it's about a tenner. I use Primark eyelashes and they are a pound a pair...it takes practise but once you get the hang of it it's piss easy...YouTube do some videos have a look on there

Omg im so glad I'm not the only one who struggles with this.. I've never worn a single pair. I give up. But i don't need them anyway. Lol.. all i no is tweezers and one eye open

I use the ones from Home bargains. £1.59 for 2 pairs..

But I use eyelure glue from boots. Amazing stuff. Just leave to go tacky before putting on with tweezers. Hold in position with the tweezers for a few seconds too.

Get the lash applicators. Slightly easier than tweezers. And practise..... I used to struggle and sometimes still have bad days x

Eylure lashes and glue are good ones to start off. Put the glue on the lashes and put them back on the packet to wait for the glue to go tacky. You can leave them for 2 minutes or longer and they'll stick better. I have semi permanent lashes every 2 weeks now,they're individual lashes on the top and lower lid, much easier!

Get Duo Lash adhesive.

Hold one lash with the tweezers and use a cocktail stick to spread a thin line of adhesive along the edge of the lash.

Wait 30 seconds or so for the adhesive to start to go off.

Use the tweezers to push the inside edge against the inside corner of the eyelid, as close to the lashes as possible.

You can then use the tweezers to work along the lash, pressing it to the lid. However, I continue to hold the inside edge with the tweezers and use a hoof stick (for your fingernails) to work along the lash, pressing it to the lid and holding it until it sticks.

There are some good tutorials on YouTube.

It just takes a bit of practice. And even with practice occasionally you'll struggle to get it to go right. Give yourself plenty of time and always have a spare pair of lashes on hand.

Takes a lot of messing about to get right and make them sit properly. l dont bother with them if lm meeting for sex. its mostly going to end up with them on my cheeks ha

Exactly this. Also try corner strip lashes for a more natural and easier look. Perfect 10 ones are 2.99 for two pairs in Savers. Stay on through sex and wet clubs too.

Tips:

Put a drop of glue (I use Eyelure in a bottle - never the stuff that comes with the lashes)) on the plastic packaging of the lashes, gently drag the lash through it to coat the whole edge.

WAIT at least a minute before you try to apply.

To really stick em, squeeze them against your own lashes.

It does take practice. and often I just CBA to go through with it (it's more that I don't want to risk messing them up and then being half hour late!)

DO THEM FIRST, then you won't mess up the rest of your face if you mess up.

Also. Black liquid liner is your friend for hiding mistakes

I've had a a pair unopened for months now and when I think about putting them on is when I'm nearly ready to go out so haven't managed yet but thanks girls, I'm going to have a go this week and try perfect the art , even with my bad eyesight

I already have decent lashes but just fancied a change

Best of luck.

Cheap lashes are fine, usually, but good adhesive is essential. I never bother with the glue that comes with lashes.

Just a note though, most lash adhesive contains latex so anyone with a sensitivity to latex should be careful when they buy lash glue.

I use Kiss eyelashes that I buy in superdrug. They have a more natural look to them because they taper at the ends. It takes a lot of practice to put on, but the glue that comes with it is pretty fast drying and once dry the lashes stay in place, I've even been in a hot tub with them

Practice , practice practice....I use the ones from B&M ...3 packs for 3 quid and the glue I get is black so you can see where its going. I've tried all the expensive lashes and glues even bought them from the beauty warehouse but ive found these ones the best. But its all practice. When I first started they would end up as eyebrows..now they are on in seconds.
