Why is this so very common on here?

Ok, so lots of guys tend to post unsubtle threads asking unsubtle questions, but it often seems that almost any thread posted by a single male is immediately littered with jokes and mockery attempting to ridicule the OP, and destroy and bury the original intention as quickly as possible.

For example, suppose a guy starts a thread saying

'You're down on your knees with your mouth open, I'm stood in front of you wanking and about to cum, what thoughts are going through your mind ladies?'

Responses will typically be to the tune of

'Did I just hear my husband pull up?!'

'This wallpapers a bit dull'

'Oooh I really need to fart!'

Genuine, harmless joking, or mean spirited piss taking hiding behind a mask of 'humour'?

Angus & Findhorn

it is as common as a lack of self-awareness, people do it and then chastise others for it.

Maybe that's a bad example sexybrain..

I never do what your saying, but for that type of post I'm tempted. it's a stupid question sorry to be harsh.

You want to hear "oh God I want to suck you big guy".

But those thoughts are in the moment and dependent on the situation and the person.

So saying something like that to an internet stranger is beyond my imagination and most of all interest!

Just where I need to be.

As the saying goes Ask a silly question and you'll get a silly answer. Personally think most is harmless fun and if the OP actually joins in the thread gets better. Believe it or not some people have no hidden motive, they just want to have a laugh.

Yeah, the example question wasn't the best choice to be fair.

Fair point.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Some see fun, light-hearted reply, others see mean spirited undermining but it will be the same post.

I didn't feel mean when I made my post on the not Wales thread last night - just whimsical. I'm sure someone will have thought I was being mean. Of course I may be so unaware of myself that I may be mean to the core and everything I write is mean and undermining.

I can't speak for others on intent, only myself. I can speak of how I read others as that is MY INTERPRETATION of what is written.

On an open forum with this group of people you've no chance of changing the overall tone of responses just because you'd prefer them to be different.

Evolve or accept. Hoping for everyone else to change for you is ambitious. Complaining when they won't is pointless.

I'm not expecting people to change, I'm simply saying what I'm seeing.

I'm also seeing people claim its just 'light hearted humour', as I expected them to.

I'm sure I'm not alone in admitting to posting mostly inane drivel on here, and I for one do it purely to have a laugh, not to be specifically undermining to the OP

Playing one up is a very common game.

Using humour with both positive and negative intentions, both consciously and unconsciously, is always likely to happen on here.

It is perfectly possible for me to be unaware that I am undermining someone while attempting to be funny

One man's meat...All subjective. That said I've seen posts started by the "mean spirited" with the sole intent to offend be diffused by people taking the piss. Only have to look at some bbw threads to see what I mean.

People can only be undermined if they choose to be.

My philosophy: I'm not offended even if intended .

Well, apart from once a month maybe .

Yes, that actually made me smile, probably because I can tell you wrote it with my overly analytical way of thinking in mind and thusly I could appreciate the humour.

I don't see what's wrong with replies like that. I'd reply to a thread in a way I see fit. It's me who is making the comments. I'd write what I want.

Sometimes individuals look in to things too much and they take the fun out of the site. It's meant to be fun - some make it too serious in my opinion.

I often see these attention seeking posts by single males and whilst there there just to troll theirs sometimes a decent question behind. why not just answer the question instead of bullying. and no I dont want to suck any body off in there garage

Your example wasn't the best OP but I do see some evidence backing up your point.

I unfortunately see this undermining usually comes from other single males....( should this be known as Black Knighting ) ???

Ask a more interesting question!

There is only one possible out'cum' to the scenario.. Face full of the pearly tonic.

How about ?

Ladies.. you're leant infront of my 12" double jointed member and I'm about to cum. My melon size testyballs swing dangerously as I tense up... What are you gonna do? Dodge the liquid spear or be doused in my cloudy lemonade ?

Some people seem desperate to take offense on others behalf. And to want to regularly start threads chastising other people's posts

Some posters deserve everything they get. That;s not limited to single men. I can think of more than 1 single female that regularly got ripped t pieces on here

O o O oo

Some people like to humiliate others. Some people like to banter/piss take. When it upsets someone or they are not getting the joke then a good piss taker will know when to stop. If they don't stop then it turns into humiliation. Full circle really.

I see it as jokey banter, although I will admit some take it to far. It's good when the op joins in as well and doesn't take themselves seriously.

I've certainly had the piss taken out of me, I take it in good fun and give the same back.

Although there are some miserable fuckers on here nowadays who I wouldn't attempt to have a bit of fun with

I might paste the top of the forum rules for all to check.

In summary: If you treat other people with respect, you can't go far wrong. Don't forget that the forums are meant to be fun
