How many people studied at the university of Birmingham or are currently studying there? What do you think about the campus?

Random topic I know but I'm curious about people's thoughts about it before I make a decision

Cheeseville, Somerset

Spent a lot of time there when I was 17-20 as I had family there.

Probably changed a fair bit since then but I used to love the party nights at the OVT.

Rejected some time ago on the basis of being pregnant, so no, not studied there, went to a large Welsh one instead.

They were concerned I'd drop out, truth is it only stopped my attendance by one day. Not bitter, had a great uni experience. As for the campus we used to go there for other events over a few years and have to say from a visitors view it looked fabulous, really couldn't find fault.

Nothing wrong with a large Welsh one

I've friends that went to BU, and they really enjoyed it, but that was a few years ago

All Unis are an awful lot bigger than in my day

Shropshire/Midlands

I've recently attended there as a mature student. Lovely campus and gardens; they're building a new library presently. There's several eating places, banks, a spar shop and a fruit and veg stall under Staff House. Not to mention a train station right adjacent to the campus (7 minutes into the centre of Bham!), but if you want to drive and park at the uni, it's only a £1 with a free permit.

I would say look at the Uni that offers the best course for what you intend to study. You are going to be paying a lot of money for it, so need to know that it is going to cover that what you what want to further your field in.

I'm not applying to study there. I work there but I'm thinking of applying for a different job there but the scale of the job depends on many things such as public opinion of the uni

What's your point. As fab is made up of members of the public their views are as valid as any!! Why comment if you've nothing to add!!

Central

It's great, for the reasons laid out by others. Position, facilities, environment, people and transport. The north of Birmingham kicks the souths arse though.

Because you already work there ! You should know if the new job is what you want. If you have doubts think about getting a job in a totally different area not educational and that will help focus what you aiming at.

There are probably better ways to gauge public opinion than on a swingers site
