I am gutted elizabeth warren decided not to run.... she is the one person i think would have given hillary a run for her money" She really knows her stuff but Wall Street would have thrown everything they have to bring her down. She declared that she wouldn't be running quite a while ago though. But Sanders and Warren are the antithesis of the Clintons so it remains to be seen if Hillary is going to follow on with Bill's legacy of deals behind closed doors or if she's actually going to try and be progressive. A president who controls congress holds all the cards.

But does the default position of failing to make the dream have to be hell! What they don't like is the fact that every politican since Reagan has been openly courted by big business. 90% of America was polled as wanting some sort of gun control but wait... The fire arm industry aren't really keen on that, so they get fuck all... That's not democracy that's oligarchy, even president Carter said in a recent interview "the us is a now an oligarchy with unlimited bribery" That's pretty fucking damming from an ex president

I think obama got in on exactly the same ticket.... The "change" message he talked about didn't really materialise but I have a sneaky suspicion that there willing to give it another go, and Clinton ain't a reformer, she's big banks and dodgy land deals! There's a small percentage of yanks who are Republicans or democrats... And there'll vote accordingly but in reality the deciding vote will be the floating voter and they've been growing in America for awhile now!

"Change didn't materialise? He achieved more in his first 2 years than most 2 term presidents in 8 years. Repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell Auto industry bailout Marriage Equality Lily Ledbetter fair pay act Affordable Care Act Etc etc etc..... No president in decades had ever been able to achieve healthcare reform, Obama did it, it's not perfect but it's an improvement. " . Those are just policies, people disagree on policies, that's not real change, real change is what sanders is taking about.... It's about the will of the people in free and fair elections! When you've got every media outlet owned by 10 fucking people... Free information has and is changing the world beyond how anyone could imagine and I personally think that's where sanders is getting his support There's now a large minority who get there media from small online services and the crush of the giants is no longer as damming as it once was!... he looks and sounds honest. He looks and sounds sincere And more importantly, hes got that common touch appeal

"Just checked him out... He seems like the democrat equivalent of Ron Paul.... Completely opposite policies...but similar in the sense that he seems authentic, has real policies and is unafraid to express his thoughts. Also, both got the 'fuzzy old uncle' treatment from the mainstream media. Go Bernie. P.s disappointed with Rand...he's not much like his father. " I think the difference between ron and rand is ron would rather be honest and unelected while rand would rather fib a bit to get the big seat! I've got no qualms with right wing politicans,I think Reagan genuinely believed in what he said and he thought that was the best way to do it, my whole problem with Reagan was he was the start of style over substance and sound bite policy!.. And in reality the start of the openly bribed politican!

I agree. The teenager in my life has been banging the drum for Sanders from the beginning but I can't get him to see that people liking what he says out of power is not the same as voting him in to do those things in power. It would be amazing if he bucks the American trend and wins, just to see if he really can make a change. Of course, the reality is that he will face the same blocks Obama has faced.

Their power is always checked by the competition and fear of people leaving. I call this system "business" and it works best with minimal involvement from politicians.

You don't oil to "run out" You just have to get to the point where you don't find more than you did yesterday!... There's a copper mine in Brazil they've been digging out for ten years 24hrs a day 7 days a week.. In three years time they reach the copper!!.. Mind you it's a big one, it would supply world demand for 9 months!. The Marcellus field.. Hyped as 100 years of gas, it's on the downturn The bakken basin downgraded by 70% At best about 2 months of the world's oil supply. Still it did better than the California play, that was downgraded by 90%. The oil companies have drilled all over the world for 100 years, they've used the pinnacle of scientific research to find every last drop, all those fracking plays have been known about for years, they just didn't have the bendy drill but technology to extract it for reasonable costs. In 50 years they've found three big conventional finds, north sea, Alaskan slope and gulf coast, all of which have gone past maximum output.. And every year we need more.. Of course it's not just oil that's in short supply.. The world is utterly short of water!. Funnily enough Saudi and the Yemen have been extracting water from three big undergroud Fischers.. There nearly empty, the Yemen's water table has dropped by 70m in ten years and there main export is agricultural because oil practically ran out ten years ago. The cost of water in Saudi last month trebled it's predicted to treble again within a year. China has been over drilling there water reservoirs for years, they've reached crises point with water in many regions this last year. Nobody ever thinks of water being a finite resource, I've always found that strange myself... Anyhow in a system built on perpetual growth, something's gotta give. I've not yet bought my tickets for Chile but I've looked at prices
